Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team at Optimum Consulting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- To greet patients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable during their visit
- To book appointments efficiently over the phone and arrange follow-ups as needed
- To manage high volumes of phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- To assist with opening and closing procedures, including reconciliations and inventory management
- To support the billing process by maintaining accurate records and updating systems as required
- To prepare reports and perform various administrative tasks as needed
About the Role:
This part-time position will be based at Capalaba, working approximately 20 hours per week. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm and welcoming experience. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and efficient appointment scheduling.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
