About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Web Developer to join our IT product team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our three websites dedicated to products. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and equipped with the latest features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Website Maintenance and Updates: Ensure high performance and minimal downtime for our three product websites.
  • Web Page Development: Design and develop new web pages and features using WordPress, incorporating sales pages, blogs, thematic research, and other necessary content.
  • Theme and Plugin Configuration: Configure WordPress themes and plugins according to branding and functional requirements for each website.
  • Adaptive Design: Implement adaptive design to ensure websites are user-friendly on mobile devices.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaboration with Marketing Team: Work with the product marketing team to implement marketing requirements for functional web design.
  • Content Updates and Technical Support: Regularly update content and resolve technical issues with the product teams and support.
  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Monitor industry trends and apply best practices in web design and development.
Requirements
  • Commercial Experience: 2+ years of commercial experience in web development or a similar role.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio of previous work, including adaptive design and WordPress projects.
  • WordPress Experience: Experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and the block editor (Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery).
  • Front-end Technologies: Proficiency in front-end technologies, including CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript, as well as knowledge of React/VueJS for using Tailwind components.
  • Basic PHP Knowledge: Basic knowledge of PHP.
  • Understanding of Template Hierarchy: Understanding of the template hierarchy and its core principles.
  • Basic SEO Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring compliance with applications.
  • Basic Browser Testing and Debugging: Basic knowledge of browser testing and debugging.
  • Basic Web Analytics Tools: Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GTM Events).
  • Understanding of Website Architecture and Aesthetics: Understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • University Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certifications: Certifications related to web development.
  • Sense of Humor and Love for Art: A sense of humor and love for art.
