About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Frontend/WordPress Developer to join our product IT team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our three websites dedicated to products. Your primary focus will be on ensuring our websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and equipped with the latest features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Maintenance: Ensure the high performance and minimal downtime of our three product websites.
• Web Development: Develop new web pages and WordPress features, integrating sales pages, blogs, thematic research, and other necessary content.
• Theme and Plugin Configuration: Configure WordPress themes and plugins according to branding and functional requirements for each website.
• Adaptive Design: Implement adaptive design to ensure our websites are user-friendly on mobile devices.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize our websites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our product marketing team to implement marketing requirements into functional web design.
• Content Updates: Regularly update content and resolve any technical issues with our product teams and support.
• Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and apply best practices in web design and development.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of commercial experience in web development.
• Portfolio: A portfolio of previous work, including adaptive design and WordPress projects.
• WordPress Expertise: Experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and block editors (Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery).
• Front-end Technologies: Proficient knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript, as well as knowledge of React/VueJS for using Tailwind components.
• Basic PHP Knowledge: Basic understanding of PHP.
• Template Hierarchy: Understanding of template hierarchy and its core principles.
• SEO Principles: Basic understanding of SEO principles and ensuring compliance with applications.
• Browser Testing: Basic knowledge of browser testing and debugging.
• Web Analytics: Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GTM Events).
• Site Architecture: Understanding of site architecture and aesthetics.
• Project Management: Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications: Certifications related to web development.
• Humor and Creativity: A sense of humor and love for art.
