Key Role: Senior Urban Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Urban Planner to join our team. As a key member of our urban planning department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our city through innovative and sustainable urban design.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement comprehensive urban plans that cater to the needs of our community, ensuring a high quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
  • Lead the design and delivery of high-quality public open spaces and streetscapes, working closely with stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Manage complex projects from concept to completion, overseeing stakeholder engagement, consultant coordination, cost estimation, and contract administration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design excellence and alignment with strategic goals, while fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Urban Planning or related field, or substantial relevant experience in urban design and development.
  • Strong technical skills in GIS, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office, with proficiency in spatial analysis and data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with contractors, residents, and internal teams.
  • Advanced project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
