Job Title: Football Operations Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our football operations team, driving participation and enjoyment of competition and program participants.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to oversee all football activities within Western Australia, including competitions, programming, talent development, coach education pathways, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for football competitions, club engagement, operations support, and administration of programs and activities.
  • Lead the team to deliver outcomes for key strategic pillars: Participants and Clubs, Elite Teams and Pathways, Fans, Unifying Football, Asia, and the Sam Kerr Football Centre.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Maintain high-level leadership and staff management skills to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing teams in high-volume, fast-paced customer-focused environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement strategic plans and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, staff management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office suite.
