We're seeking an experienced and passionate Female Football & Advocacy Manager for a 12-month Parental Leave Cover to lead programs, partnerships, and initiatives that will grow the game and elevate the role of women and girls in football. This is a highly influential role that will see you working across all levels of the game – from grassroots to elite pathways, and from club leadership to government and media engagement.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead the Female Football Community Legacy program and Play Our Way program, ensuring alignment with government grant agreements
- Develop and deliver initiatives that grow female participation and leadership at all levels of football
- Build capability in clubs and communities through governance support, workshops, and mentoring programs
- Represent Football West with government, media, and industry stakeholders, championing female football and influencing change
- Deliver festivals, tournaments, and on-field programs to drive female engagement
- Support female player and coach pathways, from grassroots to elite development
- Leverage the Women's World Cup legacy to create long-term benefits for future generations
- Develop communication content and advocate for inclusion, diversity, and equality across the game
You are an advocate, leader, and connector who thrives on driving change and creating opportunities. You bring:
- Minimum Football Australia C Diploma coaching credential (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and achieve positive outcomes
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills, with confidence in media and public engagement
- Experience delivering female sport or community development programs
- Knowledge of policy, governance, and safeguarding frameworks
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and across regional WA when required
- Enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine passion for growing female football
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Current WA Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- A valid Driver's Licence
