Civil Construction Trainer Role Overview

We're currently seeking a skilled Civil Construction Trainer to join our team on a casual part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to share their knowledge and expertise with diverse student groups.

Job Description

As a Civil Construction Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in various Civil Construction units. Your primary objective will be to ensure students meet their study and career goals through effective teaching and guidance.

You will also be performing daily tasks including providing feedback, resolving student and course concerns, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and assess training programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging training materials and resources.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to students to enhance their performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (TAE40116).
  • Possession of any of the following qualifications:
  • TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck.
  • RIIMPO320F - Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations.
  • RIIMPO317F - Conduct Roller Operations.
  • RIIMPO206D - Conduct Bulk Water Truck Operations.
  • RIIVEH304E - Conduct Tip Truck Operations.
  • RIIMPO321F - Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations.
  • RIIMPO310F - Conduct Grader Operations.
  • RIIMPO318F - Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations.
  • RIIMPO323E - Conduct civil construction dozer operations.
  • Current civil construction industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and organisational skills.

Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of Adult Learning Principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Opportunity
