Experienced English Teacher Wanted

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Years 11 and 12.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the VCE English curriculum and be able to design and implement engaging learning programs. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with students, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities- Teach English to students in Years 11 and 12
- Design and implement learning programs using knowledge of the VCE English curriculum
- Develop and use effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning
- Provide timely and effective feedback to students on their progress
- Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
- Valid VIT registration
- Qualifications and experience in teaching English
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents and colleagues
- Experience teaching VCE English (Years 11 & 12)
- Understanding of appropriate behaviors when engaging with children
- Professional practice that is strongly aligned with the expectations of a high-quality educator
- A capacity to teach English Literature
- Ongoing full-time employment
