We are seeking a skilled and experienced English teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to teach VCE English and develop engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, where students feel motivated and supported to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach VCE English to students in a supportive and stimulating environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student work, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching VCE English, including curriculum design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on student outcomes.
