As a dedicated and passionate Chef and Kitchen Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will enable you to prepare and cook high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality, nourishing meals for our residents.
  • Ensure adherence to safe food handling and infection control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Manage stock control, replenishing, and ordering as needed.
  • Supervise and provide direction to catering staff.
  • Deliver meals to clients in the designated areas.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook/Chef in large-scale meal production.
  • Experience in production environments.
  • Basic knowledge of dietary nutrition for elderly residents.
  • Ability to manage bulk ordering, purchasing, and stock control.
  • Strong budgeting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid Australian driver's license.
