Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create a range of fresh, varied, and high-quality assets for our Japanese landing pages
  • Suggest innovative design styles and creative directions that meet our users' needs
  • Make necessary improvements to existing graphics
  • Design and create prototypes and mock-ups for our Japanese growth experiments
  • Translate creative concepts into visual design by working with cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to execution
  • Test designs for usability and quality
Requirements
  • Native Japanese speaker with business-level English
  • Quick with ideas and able to come up with original visuals that catch our users' eye
  • Ability to understand a brief from stakeholders, research accordingly, and convert that brief into excellent visual content
  • Experience as a Graphic, Brand, or Visual Designer creating a diverse range of digital and print marketing materials
  • Fluency in Figma
  • Experience in and a love for design trends and styles specific to Japan
  • Portfolio demonstrating passion for designing clean, elegant, and beautiful designs
  • Keen understanding of design based on visual, cultural, and popular trends
  • Strong stylistic approach and foundation in what makes a good design
  • Ability to design with the end user's needs in mind
  • Deliver great designs, on deadline and to brief
