We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to collaborate with our client, a local Council in Sydney, on a 6-month contract.

The Opportunity
In this exciting contract role, you will play a pivotal part in creating engaging and impactful visual communication materials. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to develop designs that meet specific project requirements and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative concepts and graphic design solutions for a range of print and digital communication materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project needs and objectives.
  • Produce high-quality design work using industry-standard software (Adobe CS, Pre-press).
  • Effectively manage your workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A relevant design qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Design, Diploma of Graphic Design).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar graphic design role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Local Government experience is preferred
