Job Description


We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our Quantexa Delivery team. This team brings context to data, implementing our innovative technology across various domains, including banking, insurance, government, and healthcare.


As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving projects forward, guiding junior data engineers, and mentoring them to solve complex technical problems. You will also engage with business teams and clients to break down requirements into technical tasks, working hands-on as a programmer, and supporting other engineers within a collaborative environment.



Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of industry experience in data engineering or a related field, with two years of experience in a lead role. Proficiency in Scala, Java, Python, or another programming language associated with data engineering is required. Experience with modern development tooling and technologies, such as Git, Gradle, and Docker, is also essential.


You should be able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate with solution architects and R&D engineers to champion solutions and standards for complex big data challenges.
