Rokt, a leader in ecommerce innovation, is looking for an experienced Data Engineering Team Lead to join our team. Our AI-based relevance Platform and scaled ecommerce Network power billions of transactions, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will lead the design and implementation of complex data systems built on open-source technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, Iceberg, and Trino. Your expertise will help us build bespoke solutions using these tools, drive technical problem-solving at scale, and identify improvements to our system architecture.

We're seeking a strong software engineer with 7+ years of experience working with large amounts of data, preferably using Go, Python, or Scala. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, including Kubernetes, NoSQL databases, AWS, and GCP, is highly valued. If you're comfortable tackling ambiguity and pushing the boundaries of what's possible, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, leveraging your expertise in data engineering to inform product decisions and drive innovation. You'll have opportunities to collaborate with other engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to shape the future of our technology stack.
