The role of an Associate Nurse Unit Manager involves assisting with the management of our acute ward. This position suits an experienced nurse looking to step into a leadership role or make career progression by taking on management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing effective leadership and management of the nursing team.
- Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
- Coordinating the provision of high-quality patient care.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
- Managerial experience as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager or a history working as a high-performing nurse ready to move into an Associate Nurse Unit Manager role.
- Experience working in a small rural health setting.
- Ability to work a rotating roster across seven days of the week.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
