Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Theatre team on a part-time basis.

This is a fixed-term position working for two 8-hour shifts per week (0.42 EFT). The duration of the role will be approximately two months from early October until early December.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in the Theatre team as a Registered Nurse, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of healthcare services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to scrub/scout and/or anaesthetic/PACU Nursing, utilising excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Requirements
  • Experience in scrub/scout and/or anaesthetic/PACU Nursing
  • A Perioperative Certificate or theatre experience
  • Excellent communication skills

About Our Organisation

Our organisation is a leading small rural health service. At our site in central Seymour, over 300 staff deliver health and allied services. Our services include a 30-bed public hospital that provides public and private Acute medical and surgical, renal dialysis and day procedures.

Our breadth of services extends to post-acute care, palliative care, sub-acute ambulatory service, oral health services, district nursing and community services. We are conveniently located an hour north of Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and V/Line train service.
