This part-time Registered Nurse role is an excellent opportunity for a nursing professional to join our team in the theatre department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical team.
The position involves working two 8-hour shifts per week, which is approximately 42% of full-time employment (0.42 EFT). This is a fixed-term position that will run from early October until early December 2025.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse in the theatre department, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience in scrub/scout and/or anaesthetic/PACU Nursing
- A Perioperative Certificate or theatre experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
