About the Job:

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of our critical infrastructure.

  • You will conduct daily site inspections of all electrical systems and technical equipment to identify any potential issues or defects.
  • Ensure that the site's environmental conditions are conducive to a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Respond promptly to system alarms and perform emergency repairs as necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with company-developed processes and procedures.
  • Notify management if vendor performance does not meet requirements outlined in the Master Service Agreement.
  • Execute planned preventative maintenance (PM) on all electrical equipment.
  • Monitor system for running and alarm conditions, addressing related client issues.
  • Perform building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
  • Address facility and plant faults and defects with effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician/NSW License Non restricted
  • Australian Citizen - NV1 vetting clearance required
  • Training in a technical discipline, having completed an apprenticeship or equivalent, with 2-4 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma.
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present information to internal departments, clients, management, and colleagues.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance and repair practices, including hands-on experience with power tools, electrical work, painting, and other related trades.
