Technical Lead Electrical

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead Electrical to spearhead our electrical engineering initiatives. This role will be responsible for providing technical solutions that meet customer requirements, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical designs for data centre facilities, working closely with the Head of Electrical, Data Centres.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of electrical systems to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with vendors to select and specify electrical equipment and components that meet customer needs.
  • Provide design management and technical direction for electrical systems, including leadership and decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with preferred vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective design solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least three to five years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in data centre or critical facility environments.
  • Proven proficiency in commercial and industrial architecture and engineering, with a primary focus on data centres.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, particularly in relation to hyperscale and co-location data centre operators.
  • Experience with low voltage power distribution systems, UPS systems, PDUs, and generators.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
