Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lifestyle and Community Coordinator to join our team at Bupa Ballina. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Programs, managing a team of lifestyle officers, and providing residents with quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of lifestyle officers to deliver Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Programs
  • Provide residents with quality care and support, including promoting emotional and physical rehabilitation through recreational activities
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and organize recreational activity programs
  • Ensure individual resident needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences are taken into account when providing care
  • Complete documented assessments to determine resident capabilities, needs, and problems
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or degree-level qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an aged or community care setting
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems independently and work collaboratively as part of a team
