Job Overview
Aerison seeks a highly skilled Estimator - Construction Project Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for providing detailed cost estimates for complex construction, engineering, and/or mining projects.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong background in project-based experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Estimator, preferably working for an EPC/mining company. A Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering is desirable, but a suitably experienced trade background in the relevant field is also acceptable.

Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed cost estimates for complex construction, engineering, and/or mining projects.
Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate scope definitions and specifications.
Conduct risk assessments and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
Manage and mentor junior estimators, fostering skill development within the team.
Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and subcontractor rates to maintain competitive pricing.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Estimator.
Experience working for an EPC/mining company.
Site project-based experience.
Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering desirable or suitably experienced trade background in the relevant field.
Contractual and commercial acumen; understanding of contractual and commercial terminology.
Exposure to project schedules and construction and assembly methodologies.
Proficient in use of all Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with clients, stakeholders, and key relationship members at all levels.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards.
