Retail Store Operations Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Retail Store Operations Assistant to support our daily retail operations, help customers collect their orders with a smile, and maintain a safe, tidy store and warehouse.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety in their day, and loves being part of a supportive team.

  • Loading weekly trucks and containers with precision and care
  • Assisting customers with order collections
  • Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement
  • Accurately receiving goods into our system
  • Assembly of furniture with attention to detail
Main Responsibilities:
  • Handling and processing inventory with accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Proactively addressing any operational issues or concerns
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Key responsibilities include loading trucks and containers, assisting customers, supporting the sales team, accurately receiving goods, assembling furniture, handling and processing inventory, collaborating with the team, proactively addressing issues, participating in training programs.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution
  • Good computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Patient and helpful approach when assisting customers
  • The physical capability to handle products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability, commitment, and a proactive attitude
