Job Opportunity

An exciting chance has arisen for a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations professional to take on a new challenge in a well-established organisation with a strong sense of purpose and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyse cyber threat intelligence feeds for emerging risks and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Plan, run and report on phishing simulation campaigns and user awareness activities to educate staff.
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability scans and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement effective remediation strategies.
  • Support incident response and operational security efforts to maintain a secure environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of robust security controls and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threat trends, tools and attacker techniques to stay ahead of potential threats.
  • Communicate complex technical risks and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in cyber security or adjacent fields (e.g., systems/network engineering).
  • Experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in an MSP, SME or lean team environment.
  • Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence feeds and how to apply them practically in a real-world context.
  • Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys) and remediation workflows.
  • Exposure to phishing simulation platforms and user awareness programs.
  • A solid understanding of IT infrastructure: applications, networks, servers and endpoints.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – across all levels.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+, CISM) are a bonus but not essential.
