Deputy Cyber Security Specialist

The role is responsible for:

  • Implementing, rolling out, and promoting information and cyber security directives, policies, and work instructions.
  • Ensuring compliance with group directives, policies, and work instructions within the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Supervising and guiding local information and cyber security efforts, including technology risks based on LGT's framework.
  • Conducting control testing assurance activities, such as physical site audits.
  • Providing support for staff questions and concerns related to international SOS services.
  • Supporting the implementation of awareness measures as defined by global and local requirements.
  • Assessing and reviewing security-related requests for approval.
  • Reviewing technical concepts and recommending improvements.
  • Managing security risks, including remediation tasks.
  • Supporting audit and certification activities.
  • Acting as a point of contact for AusCERT to stay informed about current threat situations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security or Computer Science, or 8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, architectures, risk assessment methodologies, and awareness training.
  • Understanding of physical security and business continuity management.
  • Risk-aware mindset with motivation to manage information and cyber security.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts and directives.
  • Strong analysis, decision-making, and escalation management capabilities.
  • Motivation to stay current with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities Include: Implementing ISMS Policy,

A key responsibility of this role is implementing ISMS policy. This involves ensuring that all employees understand and adhere to the company's information security policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these policies and making recommendations for improvement where necessary. Your expertise will also be required to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to the organization's information assets. You will provide regular reporting on your activities and ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of any security incidents or issues that may arise during your tenure.
