Signal Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Signal Technician to support projects in QLD. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning signal equipment, as well as performing maintenance activities, fault-finding, and troubleshooting on signalling assets and electronic components on the rail network.

  • Install, test, and commission signal equipment
  • Perform maintenance activities, including fault-finding and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with controllers and other rail personnel to minimise disruptions during maintenance or emergency repairs

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Electrical license
  • Cert IV Rail Signalling qualification (from a reputable provider)
  • Drivers license
  • Ability to pass Cat 1 Medical

Key Responsibilities

This role involves working on a variety of projects and rail networks, installing, testing, and commissioning signal equipment, as well as performing maintenance activities, fault-finding, and troubleshooting on signalling assets and electronic components on the rail network.

As a Signal Technician, you will work closely with controllers and other rail personnel to ensure seamless communication and minimal disruption during maintenance or emergency repairs.
