Empowering Young Lives Through Therapeutic Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Residential Care Practitioner to join our team. As a Therapeutic Residential Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering home for children and young people with complex needs.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role where your care, commitment, and presence make a real difference every day. You will work closely with our team to provide hands-on therapeutic support, helping children and young people navigate challenging emotions, build healthy relationships, and develop skills to thrive in life.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing primary residential care to children and young people with complex needs
- Working with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supporting connections with family, friends, and the wider community
- Maintaining a comfortable, safe, and well-organized home environment
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of a Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or other similar tertiary qualification
- Completion of or willingness to complete mandatory units of competency in trauma-informed care, primary residential care, and responsible behavior
- A valid First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate
- A current Driver's License
