Senior Cyber Security Professional

As a senior cyber security professional, you will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives. Your role is critical in safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets, ensuring resilience against evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
This opportunity calls for an experienced cyber security leader who has worked at a CISO level or led cyber operations within global matrixed organisations. You will have experience working in regulated environments, ideally financial services.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise with security and risk frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO31000, NIST800, and PCI-DSS. They will also have a proven track record in a senior information security role, with global experience and tertiary qualification or extensive equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the Enterprise Information Risk & Security Strategy.
- Oversee delivery of enterprise technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Manage and investigate security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Foster strong relationships with global business units to ensure expectations around service delivery are met.
- Provide consultancy on information security projects and coordinate risk and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure efficient detection and response to cybersecurity threats.
- Implement data protection strategies to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of sensitive information.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments across internal and third-party environments.
