About This Role

Cyber security is a critical aspect of our business, and we are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to help strengthen and evolve our security posture.

This role will play a key part in shaping how we manage cyber threats, embed secure-by-design principles into projects, respond to incidents, and deliver strategic initiatives that matter.

  • Partner with business teams to embed strong cyber security risk management practices across the enterprise.
  • Provide expert advice on cyber risks, issues, and incidents, helping teams navigate challenges with confidence.
  • Support the development of engaging, data-driven dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders, senior management, and the Board.
  • Collaborate with our local and global Cyber Security community to manage threats, respond to incidents, and strengthen our security posture.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our threat detection and response strategies, including playbook development and incident management.
  • Conduct cyber threat and risk assessments, monitoring emerging technologies, and recommending proactive solutions.
  • Champion secure-by-design principles in strategic programs and projects from concept to delivery.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend security solutions that reduce complexity and enable business agility.
What We Are Looking For
  • A genuine passion for Cyber Security.
  • Demonstrated at least 3 years of experience in a similar cyber security role. Relevant education and/or certifications (e.g., SSCP, GSEC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, Security+).
  • Strong communication skills – you can explain complex topics clearly and influence with confidence.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
  • Self-starter with strong planning and prioritisation skills – comfortable managing multiple demands.
  • Experience in at least either of the following areas:
  • Regulatory trends in financial services and their impact on cyber risk.
  • Desktop, application, infrastructure, or cloud technologies.
  • Cloud computing or AI.
  • Security technologies and their business value.
  • IT, Assurance, Risk Management, or Cyber Security support roles.
  • Business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, AI).
