We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team in Family Law.

Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with a passion for Family Law to provide high-quality support to our lawyers and contribute to the success of our practice.

  • Preparation of briefs and court documents, including family law matters and estates;
  • Effective file management, ensuring all files are up-to-date and accurate;
  • Providing exceptional client liaison services, communicating with clients in a professional and empathetic manner;
  • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and meetings as required;
  • Preparing bills and maintaining accurate financial records;
  • Performing general secretarial tasks, such as photocopying and scanning documents;
  • Other duties as required by the Practice Manager or Senior Lawyers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience as a Family Law secretary or paralegal, preferably within a similar sized firm;
  • Immaculate presentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands;
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
  • Experience with practice management software and other technology used by the firm would be highly regarded.
