This role involves overseeing and managing access to road, stormwater, cycling, and footpath infrastructure across the municipality.
Responsibilities include assessing and managing applications for road openings, footpath occupations, filming permits, hoardings, and other road reserve uses.
- Provide technical guidance and enforce conditions under the Roads Act (Section 138).
- Monitor developer and contractor compliance, addressing non-conformance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records, support public liability investigations, and contribute to policy reviews.
- Deliver projects on time, meeting quality, safety, environmental, and stakeholder expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Roads Act, municipal infrastructure, and road authority responsibilities.
Requirements- Proven experience in managing access to public infrastructure.
- A current NSW Class C Driver's Licence is required.
