Procurement Expertise Opportunity

This exciting role is available at an innovative energy company based in Brisbane CBD. You will work full-time hours and be responsible for the procurement and contract management lifecycle.

The company is a leading oil and gas producer in the Asia-Pacific region, supplying energy needs across Australia and Asia.

About the Role:

As a Procurement Category Advisor, your key responsibilities include performing full life cycle procurement and contract management tasks, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and developing procurement category plans.

You will partner with suppliers to lead negotiations, ensure performance against contracts, and identify cost and business efficiency outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar procurement or category management role, ideally in a large commercial environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A track record of innovating commercially and operationally astute procurement solutions
  • Experience with SAP or similar e-Procurement systems is highly desirable

You will also be degree qualified in supply chain, law, business, or commerce.

To be successful in this position, you must have current work rights in Australia and be currently residing in Queensland (or willing to relocate).
