Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards and promoting a Health and Safety culture on-site
  • Collaborating with support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools

A day in the life of an Operations Shift Manager at Amazon involves working to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. You'll work closely with your peers to ensure all workflows run smoothly and customer expectations are met.

Requirements include:

  • Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience as a manager, involving sizable teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
