About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team at Cleanaway. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and process safety practices of our Eastern Creek site are of the highest standard.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance and support to sites on health and safety risk management and prevention of injury and illness.
  • Assisting sites with hazard identification and risk assessment activities.
  • Maintaining current risk registers and developing and assessing effective risk controls.
  • Contributing to the development and review of the HSE Management Standards.
  • Supporting sites to conduct HSE incident investigations.
  • Collaborating with key HSE team members and stakeholders to effectively partner to deliver key changes or requirements.
  • Embedding a strong safety culture across site operations through the application of HSE Behaviours and the establishment of a learning culture.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety or a relevant discipline.
  • Certification IV in Training and Assessment is preferred.
  • Ability to influence and drive change through H&S initiatives and programs.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in blue-collar, high-risk industrial environments is desirable.
