Hydro Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled IT Projects Lead to play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of projects. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and specialized staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Resource planning and management
- Contractor and vendor management
- Broad stakeholder engagement to support project outcomes
- Business case preparation, including scope, schedule, and estimates
- Risk and issue management within the IT program and projects
- Cost monitoring, projection, control, and reporting
- Leading a broad team of project managers, analysts, customers, third-party suppliers, and the IT leadership team
About You
We are looking for a passionate project leader with a proven track record of building strong relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will leverage your blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and communication skills to contribute to the IT strategy.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in IT project and program management
- Adaptability in using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Relevant industry qualifications, such as Agile PM, PMI, PMP, or PRINCE2
- Proven ability to drive change and foster collaboration across key stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing IT programs
