Parks Asset Maintenance Coordinator

 

Job Description

The Parks Asset Maintenance Coordinator is a key role in ensuring the upkeep of parks and open spaces. This position involves managing a team responsible for maintaining park assets, including footpaths, lighting, playgrounds, seawalls, irrigation systems, and recreational facilities.

 

  • Manage a skilled team responsible for maintaining park assets
  • Collaborate with the Parks and Streetscape unit to deliver high-quality service
  • Oversee inspections, audits, and repairs of assets
Required Skills and Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant equivalent industry experience in the maintenance of hard infrastructure in parks and open space are required. The ideal candidate will have experience leading and managing a customer-focused team, financial and budget management, procurement, and contract management.

 

  • Experience in asset management and contract administration
  • Knowledge of equity and diversity principles and work health and safety practices
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams and manage contractors
