Infrastructure Maintenance Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead our high-performing Parks Infrastructure Maintenance team. The successful candidate will have a background in landscape construction, building or other trades relevant to open space infrastructure maintenance.

The key focus areas of this role include:

  • Leading and motivating a small team to complete reactive and planned maintenance tasks
  • Managing the team's responsibilities for WHS and administrative components of any works undertaken
  • Prioritizing workloads, organizing materials & equipment, and working with other teams and contractors where required

This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks including maintenance on assets in parks such as rockpools, boardwalks, bush tracks, reserves, sports fields, beach access, playgrounds, park furniture and many more.

About You:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who can lead our team effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and engage their team, and possess a strong understanding of WHS protocols.

Job Requirements:

  1. A degree in a related field such as landscape construction or building management
  2. Extensive experience in leading and motivating a team
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
