Equipment Operator

We're seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery, such as tractors and slasher equipment.

This role involves performing regular checks and maintenance on equipment, preparing spray mixtures, and wearing personal protective equipment when necessary.

In addition to operating equipment, you'll also be responsible for ensuring all equipment is regularly washed down and cleaned according to set standards. Assisting in the calibration of equipment is also a key aspect of this role.

Flexibility is essential in this position, as you may be required to work night shifts or day shifts as needed. General maintenance work is also required during winter months when tractor spraying is not possible.

  • You will need a current driver's license and experience driving a tractor.
  • Agricultural experience is not essential, but it would be advantageous.
  • Good communication skills, record keeping, and basic mechanical knowledge are required.
  • The ability to work well as a team and willingness to learn new skills are essential qualities for success in this role.
  • BASIC COMPUTER/DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY SKILLS AND GOOD PLANNING AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED.
