- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment throughout the day, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Meat Display and Merchandising: Assist with wrapping meat and seafood, stocking the meat case, and arranging the display case to ensure an attractive and appealing presentation.
- Inventory Management: Assess production needs and rotate merchandise to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and vendors, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Education and Training: High School Certificate or Trade Qualification (Butcher)
- Licenses and Certifications: Trade Qualification (Butcher)
- Experience and Skills: Butchery or comparable experience, strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, problem-solving and critical thinking, attention to detail.
This is a full-time position that requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo role and department-specific training within specified timeframes.
