Key Responsibilities:

  2. Lead a team of maintenance professionals and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality programs covering technical skills, safety protocols, and operational efficiencies in a cost-effective and engaging way.
  3. Collaborate closely with operational managers and HR to assess maintenance needs and develop tailored learning paths for different roles and career levels.
  4. Evaluate and enhance existing maintenance materials and methods to optimize learning outcomes and engagement.
  5. Establish an effective service delivery model and service offering that meets the organisation's maintenance needs in all parts of the world.
  6. Monitor and report on maintenance effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations to ensure return on investment and drive continuous improvement.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure maintenance programs remain cutting-edge and compliant.
  8. Role model the behaviours that are exemplified in the Barminco Way, and that encourage people to be open and curious about working in new ways.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Maintenance and Asset Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (7+ years) in a leadership role within the mining or heavy industry, with a focus on maintenance and asset management.
  3. Strong understanding of underground mining operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to lead a diverse team, foster a culture of continuous learning, and drive performance excellence.
