Creative Visual Effects Artist

Our Roto/Paint Artist is a key member of our visual effects team, working closely with Compositors to integrate all elements of an image and create high-quality film shots.
Key Responsibilities:
- 2D tracking: Track and stabilize moving objects in 2D footage.
- Matte extraction: Isolate specific areas or objects within an image.
- Rig removal/paint fixes: Remove unwanted elements or fix paint errors in images.
- 3D camera projections: Create 3D projections from 2D footage.
- Clean plate creation: Generate clean plates for compositing.
- Grain matching: Match grain levels between different footage types.
- Spline based roto creation: Create rotoscoping shapes using spline-based techniques.
- Sophisticated shape creation and editing: Design and edit complex shapes for visual effects.
- Shape animation (by hand and w/ trackers): Animate shapes using manual techniques or tracker-assisted methods.
- Shape compositing, fill modes, opacity settings: Composite shapes with other elements, using various fill modes and opacity settings.
- Compositing roto, plate, and color correction nodes to create, render, and review color-overlay roto check: Combine rotoscoped elements with other imagery, applying color correction and rendering for final checks.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience working on feature films.
- Knowledge of Nuke (experience in Maya is a plus).
