Commercial Lawyer Position

Our organization requires a commercial lawyer to join their team.

This role involves strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance, informed decision-making, and ethical business practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Examining key commercial agreements, such as licenses, service contracts, leases, and project deals, while ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Leading negotiations and crafting strategies to safeguard our legal interests.
  • Advising on banking, finance, credit lending, privacy laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assessing legislative changes, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively identifying legal risks and implementing solutions.

About the Role Requirements

We are seeking an experienced lawyer with extensive knowledge in corporate counsel roles, focusing on commercial agreements, IT contracts, and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial services, credit licensing, and regulatory compliance, as well as exceptional commercial insight and negotiation skills.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Laws degree and 6+ years post-admission experience.
  • A current practicing certificate.
