Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our Launceston Distribution Hub.

The successful candidate will manage site distribution, warehouse operations, Truck and Forklift fleet, suppliers, property, and inventory control to meet KPIs and budget targets while ensuring a high level of EHS compliance.

Safety Leadership is paramount, and the successful candidate will champion safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and AS-45001 standards.

The Warehouse Manager will lead, coach, and mentor their team, driving people development, succession planning, and employee engagement.

A key focus will be on driving site and process improvement projects using our Supply Chain Excellence Framework and adopting new technologies to maintain industry-leading service standards.

This role requires close collaboration with the regional services manager, broader supply chain, customer service, and local sales representatives to meet service commitments.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing and coaching staff within a warehouse environment (min. 2 years' exp. as a warehouse manager), strong understanding of small to medium warehousing and distribution environments, LF Forklift Licence – highly desirable, MR or HR Truck Licence – highly desirable, ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, experience managing EHS and COR in line with policy and legislation, familiarity with warehouse management systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a customer-first approach.

The Warehouse Manager will be self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a 40-hour work week and flexible start times, Monday to Friday.
