You will play a key leadership role in supervising and supporting less experienced clinicians, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to achieve exceptional results.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse is essential.
- Demonstrated competencies in complex nursing practices, including knowledge of the challenges involved in providing care in a multidisciplinary environment, are necessary.
- Effective communication through various means, such as information technology, written and verbal interactions, and strong interpersonal skills, are crucial.
- The application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualized person-centered care, while promoting quality improvement, is required.
- Able to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver high-quality nursing care, with a willingness to demonstrate leadership and adapt to change in the coordination and delivery of care.
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including evidence of participation in ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancing skills, is essential.
