About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Traverse Alpine Group. As a leader in the hospitality industry, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences in scenic locations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing innovative menus and preparing high-quality dishes that reflect seasonal and local ingredients.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute diverse menu items that showcase our commitment to using fresh, locally sourced produce.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistently high standards of quality and taste.
  • Manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to foster skill development and promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to achieve profitability and contribute to the company's success.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions that drive revenue growth and enhance the guest experience.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef, with a strong portfolio showcasing your culinary skills and creativity.
  • In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and communicate with colleagues and guests.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and proper kitchen sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
