Key Responsibilities

Loyal and skilled Mechanics will be responsible for the regular maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of light vehicles.

This includes performing routine checks, identifying mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, and resolving problems to ensure the vehicles are roadworthy and efficient.

The successful candidate will also be required to maintain accurate records of work completed, including stock levels of parts and ordering necessary supplies.

Requirements

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)

  • Solid hands-on experience with servicing, fault-finding, and repairing various makes and models
  • A/C service and repair experience, including diagnosing faults and re-gassing systems
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to assist with maintenance on small plant, Haulage, and mining fleet
  • Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in the workshop

MR/HV license and Forklift certification are desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be a team player who is able to adapt to changing situations.

Overview of Duties

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Performing regular light vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs
  2. Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  3. Maintaining accurate records of work completed
  4. Completing planned maintenance and servicing tasks
