Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to provide safe and reliable bus services by maintaining our vehicles in optimal condition through top-quality maintenance and repairs.

The successful candidate will experience a variety of meaningful work across several vehicle makes and models, including general maintenance and repair tasks as well as major engine component rebuilds.

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to upskill from Light Vehicle to Heavy Vehicle mechanic and participate in an electric vehicle upskill program.

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Opportunity to upskill from Light Vehicle to Heavy Vehicle mechanic
  • Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
  • Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
  • Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
