Job Opportunity:

As a senior business development professional, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new energy infrastructure opportunities that align with our corporate growth objectives.

  • Lead the origination, acquisition, and closing of large-scale energy generation, storage and transmission infrastructure projects.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with clients, regulators, and market operators to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and present compelling bids, tenders, and investment proposals to secure new opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and risk allocation to support project feasibility.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver winning solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background, 8-15 years' experience in investment, business development or commercial roles within the energy sector, and proven experience across public-private partnerships (PPPs), project finance, and large-scale project development from origination to financial close.

Additional qualifications include knowledge of the Australian electricity market, transmission infrastructure, and permitting processes, as well as excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
