Regional Security Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting the successful execution of security functions, including the operation and maintenance of CCTV, card access, burglar, and fire alarm systems at regional Light & Wonder facility locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Security Projects and Systems Manager for global security systems, investigations, and processes.
  • Install and maintain regional security systems, including CCTV, access control, burglar, and fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and industry standards.
  • Engage with external contractors, vendors, and suppliers for maintenance and construction work.
  • Prepare reports and review team reports to ensure effective investigations.
  • Support safety and security audits, investigations, and functions to support global risk and threat assessments.
  • Report criminal activity to law enforcement agencies.
  • Train security officers in corporate safety and security procedures and policies.
  • Monitor and ensure life safety systems and related equipment are fully functional.
  • Collaborate with the risk team on background checks and new badge issuance.
  • Support global security teams and functions for program readiness.
  • Compile data and key performance indicators to drive security management system functions.
  • Participate in the Light & Wonder duty of care program to support global traveler safety and security.
  • Support benchmarking efforts to drive continual improvements to the global security program.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience with global or regional security systems and programs.
  • Some college or specialized technical training, including experience with security regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge and expertise with CCTV operation, access control systems, and Tyco burglar and fire systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Customer service personality and ability to train subordinates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a team concept.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure effective project implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization skills and dependability.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 15kgs.
  • International travel may be required but limited to an as-needed basis.
