We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the leader of works delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a regional team that constructs, operates, and maintains the underground distribution network.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based out of the North West (Devonport or Burnie). We offer an attractive remuneration package and a supportive work environment where safety is at the heart of everything we do.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience within an electrical environment and a proven track record of leading a team of tradespeople/technical professionals.
- Able to navigate challenging situations and take decisive action to achieve positive outcomes
- Proven experience with enterprise planning software
- Possess commercial acumen and business insight capabilities, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive results
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
About this role:
We are looking for someone who can contribute to and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise Program of Work activities. This includes onsite audits and discussions with team members, ensuring the upskilling of team members' technical skills, driving the performance and productivity of the team, and collaborating with the Works Delivery Manager to enhance crew utilisation.
About youYou will have demonstrated experience leading a team and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will also have experience working with enterprise planning software and possess commercial acumen and business insight capabilities.
