Customer Service Specialist - Coffee Shop

At our vibrant coffee shop, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and charismatic individual who can deliver exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers warmly and providing them with menus and information about our products.
  • Taking orders accurately while paying attention to details, such as preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios, as well as knowing specific ingredients of pastries and bread.
  • Preparing beverages according to recipes provided and serving them to the highest standard.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy bar area, including polished cutlery and dishes, and ensuring that brewing equipment operates properly.
  • Communicating customer feedback to management and any suggestions they may have.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous work experience in the industry, preferably in Australia.
  • Barista knowledge, ideally with training in the Australian industry.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, which is a necessity.

Schedule:

Our ideal candidate will be available to work 10 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, afternoon shifts, day shifts, morning shifts, public holidays, and weekends.

Experience:

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in barista roles, customer service, and food handling.
